We were so excited to hear about a new initiative over at The Washintonian's Bridal Party blog. They're adding a Wedding Announcements section-- think of it like the NY Times Sunday Styles section-- a timely and vetted list of the most interesting, high-profile, and connected locals getting married in our region. What a fun way to keep up with all of the exciting weddings in the DC Area!

To submit yourself [or another fabulous couple] for consideration, head over to the submissions page to fill out a questionnaire and upload photos. We look forward to seeing many Hitched couples being formally announced!

Sweet Hitched Couple's Story In The Washington Post

We're totally smitten with the love story of Hitched bride Carolyn and her now-hubby, Elliot, which was featured recently in The Washington Post: On Love. Our favorite part is a quote from the groom: "It's that moment when you realize the person you just met already knows all your inside jokes." Carolyn snagged one of the great ones, and she looked absolutely gorgeous in her Anna Maier gown, too!

We were so thrilled to see another Hitched wedding on Style Me Pretty last week! Michelle and Robert's Chesapeake Bay affair was beyond stunning, and her custom designed Anna Maier gown was the icing on the cake.
