It's usually pretty simple to find "something old" (family jewelry, your engagement ring), "something new" (your gown or shoes), and "something borrowed" (a friend's veil, mom's lace handkerchief). But if you're not into the idea of a garter (or blue undies!), coming up with your "something blue" to finish off this tradition of luck can be tricky.
We love the idea of choosing a creative way to incorporate the color blue into your wedding day attire: put it in the least obvious place-- the soles of your shoes!
Stick on blue crystal decals that represent the letters of you and your spouse's names or your wedding date.
Grab a blue pen or marker and follow this Turkish shoe-signing tradition: the single bridesmaids (or family members) autograph the soles of the bride's shoes, then at the end of a long night of dancing, see whose name has faded the most-- legend has it that she'll be the next to marry.
Do you have any fun and creative ideas for adding a bit of blue to your wedding day?

I love the shoe signing idea!
