Tradition tells us that the bride should be the only one wearing white at a wedding, but we must admit that we absolutely adored the crisp, clean-lined white gown that Pippa Middleton wore at the royal wedding.
With its understated simplicity, the incredibly well-tailored gown was absolutely stunning and tasteful-- and we sense that a trend of white and ivory bridesmaid dresses may be on the rise (and we're in full support of it!). The key to pulling off this look is to keep it simple, but to make sure that the style of the bridesmaid dresses differ from that of the bridal gown to ensure that she still stands out!
Not sure that stark white will fit your overall wedding vibe, or worried that it won't look great against the skin tone of some of your gals? Try ivory, beige, pale pink, or an otherwise neutral tone for an equally minimalist and romatic feel.
Do you think it's appropriate for bridesmaids to wear white? Is this a look you'd be willing to try?
