Personally, I think Bel Biv Devoe's Poison is the perfect song for the garter retrieval and toss. It just ties back into the nature of being in love and not being able to keep your hands off of each other.
I would say a close runner-up would be Fine Young Cannibal's She Drives Me Crazy.

Danger Zone from Top Gun is what we are planning on playing for the Garter Toss.

"Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Sure, it's a bit cliché, but it's a fun song and will definitely have me and all my ladies (single or not) grooving to the beat - which is what it's all about!

All I wanna do ~ Sugarland

I'm too sexy, right said Fred. Somewhat cheesy but could be pretty funny!!

oops! I got so excited by the giveaway, I was thinking "bouquet toss" instead of garter! Garter toss is definitely "Danger Zone" from Top Gun - complete with the groom/groomsmen wearing their aviators!

Something to talk about! by Bonnie Rait

"I Can't Help Myself" by The Four Tops!

I think Legs by ZZ would be perfect because it is a sensual and fun song for a sensual and fun moment!

If it's when all the guys are trying to catch the garter.. maybe "The Boys are back in Town" by Thin Lizzy.

You Know I'm no Good - Amy Winehouse
So I can laugh at the confused looks on their faces.

Old timey cabaret music, of course!

Both my fiance and I are going for a laid back feel and hope to make our guests laugh and generally have a good time. I think the song "I Know What Boys Like" would be a hilarious song to play during the garter tradition!

can't get enough of your love (barry white) -- a classic and quite fitting !

Hands Up by Ottawan. Just a silly re-discovery of mine recently, and it seems vaguely somehow to go with the whole occasion. I really didn't think I was going to do the whole garter thing, until recently. All of a sudden, it seems very appealing. These are gorgeous!

It should be something fun. Motley Crue's "Girls, Girls, Girls" is great or Britney Spears' "Womanizer".

We are planning on using "Let's get it on" by Marvin Gaye. No other song says sexy-time like that one!

I think the perfect garter toss song would have to be Marvin Gaye's "Let's get it on." I don't think there's a sexier than that song!

Ah - the yellow garter set is so fun! Little risque, but I like Joan Jett's "do you want to touch me". ;)

I like a little country and for some reason I've always thought Tim McGraw's "Real Good Man" would be perfect! PS - I'm in love with the lace garter above, so pretty!

Peggy Lee's "Fever"! How is "you give me fever
when you kiss me, fever when you hold me tight, fever in the morning, fever all through the night" not the perfect lyrics?
