Designer Callie Tein will be on-hand to discuss custom changes to your gown (if you can dream it, she can design it!), and you'll get to try on her brand new collection, straight from the runway! The Chic & Cozy Carlton Hotel

We had such a fabulous time in New York City last week, and in particular we loved our stay at The Carlton Hotel. Bridal Market can be a bit stressful since we're running from appointment to appointment without much time to breathe, but having this fabulous hotel as our home base made this particular trip one of our most enjoyable ones to date!

There are tons of options for lodging in NYC, but The Carlton really has it all. It's in a prime location, and the boutique hotel exudes an element of comfort and glamour at the same time. The staff was completely accomodating and genuine, which made us feel right at home.

The decor and architecture are stunning and the aesthetic is so unique-- making it perfect for special events [think weddings, bridal showers, and engagement parties]. We were disappointed that we didn't have time to enjoy a full meal at the hotel's restaurant, Millesime, as we heard glowing reviews from other guests.  If you're headed to NYC, we'd highly recommend it as a place to stay, or a venue to consider for all of those wedding-related soirees!

Thanks again to the wonderful staff for making this trip as easy and relaxing as possible!

Pretty Pumpkins

We spotted this wedding over at the Bridal Bar Blog and just had to share it with you. This happy couple succeeded in incorporating pumpkins into their fall affair without turning it into a Halloween-themed wedding [though we will be sure to feature those later in the week]!

Adding white pumpkins to the decor added a neutral tone, creating a more romantic feel. We love how pumpkins were also added to some of the floral elements of the wedding-- an unexpected, creative touch!

Hallo-Week

Ok, so we know Halloween is still a week away-- but we thought it would be fun to incorporate some flair from this fun holiday into our posts this week! First up?
