We're already big fans of all of the confections by local pastry chef [slash amazing artist] Leslie Poyourow of Fancy Cakes by Leslie, so we were excited to see her incredibly crafted groom's cakes featured on The Bridal Party Blog!

Between the guests at the royal wedding, the White House Correspondents' dinner, and the MET Ball, we spotted all sorts of fabulous fashion on the web this this week. Whether gowns are specifically bridal, ogling over formal dresses and drool-worthy accessories can be truly inspiring!

We must admit that we wish the fancy-hat tradition was standard in the good ol' US of A, especially when we see stunning numbers like these via Lovely & Gracious...

There was a stunning array of incredible fashion at the MET Ball, and The Frisky's list of the 30 best dressed is right on point...

The ladies weren't the only ones looking stylish this week! We loved the some of the non-traditional (yet still sharp and occasion-appropriate) looks donned by the male attendees of this year's White House Correspondents' dinner [via Esquire]...

And of course, we can't forget the belle of the ball at the White House Correspondents' dinner-- the ever-lovely First Lady, Michelle Obama. We think she looked so chic in her simple Halston gown and chunky accessories [via The Bride's Cafe]...
